Band conditions were very bad during the contest. Ten was nonexistent, 15 and 20
not much better. I tried answering many CAL stations calling CQ, but could not
be heard, and that was running 1 KW through a TH3. Forty was my best band.
A guy across town from me called to say that my station was the only DX he had
worked all weekend, HI.
