Comments:

Estimated multiplier, paper logging. Made a few SSB QSOs this time but it was
much slower than CW with the mobile signal. 80m antenna worse than a dummy
load. Conditions on 15m worse than last year. Less road kill observed this
year. Total live score: two moose, two deer, one porcupine, four chipmunks, two
squirrels, three foxes, one woodchuck, and one pheasant. Roads in better shape
despite more frost heave warnings. Seemed like the European signals were louder
than those from the USA, escpecially on Sunday when in Maine...

Hit all the counties in the plan, even stayed within about 15 minutes of my
estimated time schedule. Planned for 65mph on Interstates (less than 10% of
trip) and 40mph otherwise.

Did some touring in VE9 and VY2 afterwards. Once north of Massachusetts there
were few signs of Spring - trees just starting to bud, no leaves. A few North
facing shady areas in VE9 and VY2 had snow. Bonus was light traffic, no other
tourists and cheaper rates.

See you in the NEQP next year!
