Comments:
We were a true multi-single with no second station for mults. Actually if CQ had
a multi category for TS that would be us. Operated field day style outside and
it got way cool at night at 8000 ft ASL so not much time on 40 and no antenna
for 80 or 160. Used an old Mosley 4 el tribander at 35 feet. Used a K0DU PVC
vertical for 40. Some deer interupted the radials Saturday evening. Only
heard/worked one European on 10m and that was a 9A on Saturday on a scatter path
at 80 degrees. Hrd him for 30 minutes but not one other EU hrd on 10. A very
casual operation and took lots of time out on Sunday for the last annual fish
fry by KA0BAD (Bernice) and ND0E (Lloyd) who are going to become year round
Texans instead of winter Texans.
