Comments:
A last minute m/s effort (well not even a true m/s, just 1 radio 2 ops trading
off) brought on by good propagation and a reminder from Martti. The contest was
good for Maurice VE6MAA to practise his Finnish.
Good conditions, altho no SAC activity on 10m heard here, but it was open to
more southern Europe and Africa. On 80m, heard OH2BH, OH5BM(I think), SK3W and
a trace of a few other signals but OH2BH (the station, that is) was the only one
that heard us.
Good fun and a productive weekend - thanks to Maurice, got several tower
projects completed between stints at the radio. Got some bigger bolts (now up to
3/4 inch) in the boom to mast adaptor on the 80m yagi so it won't freewheel over
the winter, I hope.
