Comments:
My mult total reflects 4 bonus counties (8 or more Q's) of MCLN (11), BURO (9),
COOK (9) and WTSD (8).
My score is down a bit from last year, but I believe that the activity was,
too.
GREAT FUN! chasing the mobiles! KF9D, KJ9C, N9JF, NN9K, W3DYA, and NY4N were
notable; there are others. Some of the pileups were huge! I had to go split on
more than one occassion! Thanks to K9ZO, for moving with me up the bands and
modes. And Ralph, your audio sounded just fine out here. I believe that the
self-proclaimed "audiophile" who broke in on us on 20m has tin ears and an even
worse receiver.
Operated from my portable station in the Greenhorn Mountains near Rye, CO.
Elevation about 8000'. 140' dipole fed with ladder line at 30'. TS-930 with
PIEXX cpu board. TR Logging software. Red Rocket Pale Ale.
Thanks for all the QSO's with the boys back home. Hope to cu soon.
73,
Charlie N9CO/0
