Comments:
My KINGDOM for a decent 160M antenna on this city lot.
The balloon vertical was the best, but it always wanted to fly away. The sloper
sucked. The elevated Force 12 vertical was a 3 man job to put up and it didn't
play from the ground. Now I'm using a shunt loaded tower and it just doesn't cut
it.
Hhmmm, the next door neighbor has a 90' palm tree. The palm fronds are never
trimmed and always blow into my yard in a big wind. Maybe if I offer to pay to
trim the tree if he will let me use it for a skyhook for an inverted vee ...
I NEVER would have thought I'd have more QSOs on 10M than on 15M or 20M at this
point in the sunspot cycle. As others have noted, 20 was done early. I should
have taken the offtime I took 3.5 hours into the contest a few hours later.
