Comments:
We were operating portable fieldday style from a nearby airfield. There will be
a writeup dealing with our antenna and station setup (direct comparison TenTec
ORION vs. Yaesu FT-1000MP on that webpage *LATER* (in a few days!!!):

Antenna setup:
==============
INVERTED VEE
@ 38m (in the beginning)
@ 26m (in the middle of the contest)
@ 15m (at the end of the contest)
It was too cold for the BigLift pneumatic mobile tower. We could get it up only
after firing with a gas heater onto the air compressors for a while. Later it
was not able to keep the air pressure and the tower slowly kept coming down...
WIRE VERTICAL
~26m vertical with four top loads of 5m length each
plus about 40 radials (20m long) lying on the ground
The wire was hung down from a 85ft/26m tail-lift (7.5 ton truck) borrowed from
friendly company in the neighborhood. Nice experience to "hang down" an antenna
from something instead of "putting it up" on something... ;-)
Both antennas were combined over a WX0B StackMatch most of the time.

Big, big thanks to Joerg, DL8WPX/YB1AQS, who came here Tuesday afternoon and
stayed until Monday evening. One week of continuos work reminded us of our CN8WW
activites back in those days... ;-)
