Comments:
First ARRL DX contest since 1989; what a difference packet and software (N1MM
Logger) make! Have to get some sort of antenna for 160 before next year; my 80
meter dipole up 30 feet just doesn't cut it. Made my 1000 Qs/1M point goals,
thanks to packet; almost all S&P. Rig: TS 930. I can't decide whether to get
a PIEXX board or save up for an Orion. Writing this makes me think of K4OJ;
since getting back on the air last October, Jim would e-mail me after reading my
comments, resuming a friendship that began in the 70s. RIP, OM.
