Comments:
Great conditions, especially on the low bands. Aside from one of my 80m wire
beams blowing down in Friday's wind storm, fifteen minutes before the contest,
everything else was fine. Note to self: Raise 160m inverted V from 50' to
120'!
10m propagation was disappointing, but the other bands played well. 80m was
open to Europe, Africa, Asia, including Central and South America. 40m was wide
open and produced nice runs to Japan and Europe. With 10m so poor, 15m and 20m
had to take up the slack. Still, those mults on 10m were missed.
In summary, good band conditions made for a fun contest. Thanks for all the
q's! Time to catch up on some sleep now!
