Comments:
I had planned to put in a almost full time operation in this contest, but
Thursday night I started to come down with a cold and by contest time on Friday,
I had a sore throat, and my nose was running like a faucet. I did succeed in
using up two boxes of Kleenex in and effort not to drip onto my keyboard. So I
just made some sweeps up and down the bands a few times just S&Ping. Heck, I
still had fun and it was more relaxing not having run ins with other stations
trying establish a run frequency. I got a big kick out of the DX stations
working split on 40M and listening for callers on 7150 and 7300. I didn't
listen on those freqs to see if they had any takers. See you all in the WPX
contests.
