Comments:
I felt like I was in a propagation black hole. Very few stations were s7 or
louder, and I got beat a lot in the pileups. Not one of my better performances,
but it was a fun two hours nevertheless.
My qso number 4 was VE4VV. From out of the callsign database pops his qth,
"man," which the logging program interpreted as his name. I didn't notice it
until it got passed on during the next qso. That's where the name "man" came
from. I think it survived to the very end.
W9WI was off frequency for the entire contest, which came in handy during the
pileups. If you heard a few high frequency peeps, it had to be him.
See you in wpx cw maybe, unless conditions really stink, or the temp is over
115.
