Comments:
OUR FIRST ATTEMPT AT THIS CONTEST AS A GROUP. A FEW OF US HAD WORKED IT BEFORE.
LIKE NORMAL WE HAD A LOT OF PROBLEMS,NETWORK,ANTENNA AND RIGS.WE HAD THEM ALL.
WE OPERATED 4 STATIONS, (160,80,40,15,10 SSB ) (20 SSB)( AL BAND CW) (6,2).TWO
OF THE STATIONS WERE OPERATING MOST OF THE TIME, AND TWO WERE PART TIME.WE ALL
TOOK TIME TO GET AT LEAST 4 HOURS SLEEP.I WONDERED WHY WE DID NOT WORK TOO MANY
STATIONS ON 6 ? I FOUND OUT WHEN WE TORE DOWN ,THE ANTENNA WAS CONNECTED TO THE
2 METER BEAM ,HI HI.THE LACK OF A 160 ANTENNA DID NOT HELP US EITHER.THE
STATIONS WERE SET UP BEFORE THE CONTEST AND TORN DOWN AFTER.A LOT OF WORK AND A
LOT OF UNEXPECTED PROBLEMS.
A LOT OF THANK'S TO VA3MO FOR HELPING US SET UP ANTENNAS,AND VE3ITY FOR SET
UP.THE BANDS WERE NOT IN GREAT SHAPE AS EXPECTED THIS TIME OF THE CYCLE.BUT WE
ALL HAD A GREAT TIME AND ENJOYED THE CONTEST.NEXT TIME WE WILL TRY TO SORT ALL
THE PROBLEMS OUT BEFORE THE TEST,HAVE ALL THE ANTENNAS,NETWORK,AND TRY TO BE A
LITTLE MORE SERIOUS.
THANK'S TO ALL WHO WORKED US AND ESPECIALLY TO THOSE WHO QSY FOR MULTS.SEE YOU
IN THE WINTER TEST.
