Multipliers were tough this time. Heard two KL7's with big
signals (KL7WV and AL1G), but I was on the wrong end of
the QSY rule both times. Also heard K7CA in Utah with about
2 seconds to go on 80 meters. By the time he was done with
his QSO it was 04:00:20 or so, so it wasn't to be :)
Eighty was surprisingly good in the last hour. Felt like I
made up a little lost ground from hour 3 on fourty where
I really felt beat up this time. On fourty it sometimes felt
like there was a pileup of perennial champions following me
around between 7005 and 7027 beating me out everytime I
called someone, and when I called CQ nobody they were nowhere
to be found (okay, next time I will take my medication before
the contest). Anyhow, nice to see all the familiar callsigns.
Even though I still suck at it, the CW Sprint is still the
best thing in contesting.
