Comments:
As usual the contest was lots of fun and would like to thank everyone for the
Q's. A couple of hours into the contest my PC started to become very unstable
using writelog so I reinstalled some of the inf files and it seemed to work
better. This year the biggest difference for me was 10m it just didn't want to
open up for very long. As a result Q's and total mult counts were down. On the
upside I managed several runs on 40, 80 and 160 of over 120-150/min. The beam
will need some adjusting before CQWW CW as 20m doesn't seem to tune as well as
it did before. The AD sloper seemed to work better than the DX88 however the
DX88 worked better on 80 than the sloper...hum. I do not have room for a
beverage hence no real DX opportunities on 160 and therefore I concentrated on
getting Q's. I missed the pacific this year where were the JA's?? There were
some high points however for example being called by 5R8FU and probably the most
strange occurance was when I tried in vain to break a pileup for SV3 and then
moments later got called by SV9CVY. Looking forward to CQ WW CW.
