Conditions were perhaps the worst I can ever remember on 80 and 40 meters
Saturday evening. I guess it was rain static that was causing QRN of S9 to 20
over much of the evening. I had to use my beverage antenna to get away from the
static but I only have one beverage and it is pointed toward EU. I appoligize
to the stations calling that I couldn't copy. 15M was only really open for a
limited amount of time on Sunday.
Something new for me. I asked a station for a repeat of his call and he came
back with something of this nature: "WISKEY ALPHA TWO ECHO TANGO UNIFORM".
