Comments:
Totals slightly down this year over last, but I learned my lesson and emphasized
CW over Phone. Jumped over to SSB for just short periods (and called CQ
Cheeseheads), not wanting to miss out on any new mobile counties. Did find one
more county this time.
Never heard any mobiles on SSB probably 'cause it's just not worth it. Really
wish the multiplication factor for CW was not as high as it is. Make it 1.5 and
we'd see lots more participation from the more casual SSB ops, and a lot more
Q's all around. Or maybe separate SSB and CW (and Mixed) classes would help.
Bet there are a bunch of mobiles who would make the trip if SSB were worth
anything.
Anyway, off my soapbox. Thanks to all the mobiles, hope you guys had fun
criss-crossing the state. I enjoyed working you - all good ops, too!
