Comments:
The spring semester is over, along with my Thursday night class, so I'll be able
to play in the Thursday night Sprints at least through the summer.
Good warmup for WRTC. It's nice to know I remember the code.
It seemed like everyone was crunched onto 3 frequencies between .039 and .041
above the band edge. This allowed the big guns (and those without a lot of
local competition) to rack up big QSO totals while the mere mortals are left
with the scraps. I had a very difficult time getting any sort of rhythm going
on 20 and 40 for this reason, and I had MANY unanswered CQs outside of this
narrow range. If everyone spreads out a bit more, it will increase everyones
QSO and mult totals. Fun none the less!
See you next Thursday...
73, Dave N2NL/6
