I was thinking of the contest going on all day and it bothered me that I wasn't
in there pounding the keyboard. So after I finished a beautiful job replacing
the wood in and around the bay window in the kitchen, I decided to treat myself
to a couple of hours RTTY contesting. The temperature in the garage was near
90F at 10 p.m. at night but it didn't matter. I felt I needed to do it.
We moved out of the FEMA trailer this week after Shay detected a gas leak that
nearly sent her to the hospital. The gas detector in the trailer did not work
and when FEMA came to replace it, they couldn't find a leak. We are not so
confident of their work and decided to move into the master bedroom until the
wood floors arrive.
It was great to contest again. I really enjoyed the 3 hours I put in. Great
to see all the activity but toward the end there wasn't much going on. Thanks
for all the Q's and hope to see everyone in SARTG in August.
Highlight of the contest was working Delaware!
