Comments:

SOSB 40m is very hard here in EU:
- in the evening on short pass there is the European Sprint contest, which
increase the QRM VERY much. The challenge is, to keep the frequency clear to
here the weak Pacific stations through the EU mud of QRM...
- The chinese radar was ON !!! It was putting about S9 (FT-1000MP meter) all
the band below 7065khz. When switching the 4-square to indean ocean the radar
was S7-8
- Eurorean breakers ALL THE TIME - many stations wanted to get points for the
EU-sprint from me...
- European Jammers !! Indeed not broadcasters, but just pirates (I cannot call
them hams !), which put all kind of jamming signals on my qrg - noise, tuning,
recordings from my own signal (!), just for fun....

One problem is, that there is just not enough activity from the pacific ! If
the amateurs could believe, that they can indeed be heard in Europe even, if
they run low-power with a very simple antenna - may be they won't give it up on
before hand. Not got on the air is the only reason they are not heard ...

This time ALL Stations I heard - even some were extremely weak ! - I could
work. Some people were very short in giving me the exchange. So I had to ask
for repeating the number.

Thanks for the big guns putting here very nice signals into EU ! ZL6QH was
heard very loud finally on long pass - although in the beginning (1hour before
out sunrise) only s5 was reached - during EU-sunsrise and 30min after ZL6QH
reached S9...

Some Stn's just came too late on 40m for Long pass EU: ZL2MF and ZL1ANH should
come 1 hour earlier on 40m ! At the time, they come on the band, ZL6QH also
dropped in Strength about 2 or 3 S-units - I guess almost no LP contacts to
East EU was possible... or only the big guns.

First station on shortpass in the evening coming through was VK6ANC - more than
1 hour before sunset here in EU - and through very high QRM -levels in EU...

Condx here:

Rig: FT-1000MP + AMP (1KW output)
Ant: elevated 4square vertical array on top of the building (see foto's at
www.on5kq.be )
Saltwater to eastern directions (see foto's)
Software: latest N1MM version

Thanks for all who called me !
