Comments:
Typical poor January conditions here. The ice storm west and north of here
really hurt activity... only 4 qsos in EN82 (120 miles away), none of those on
222/432.
Before the contest I made a few tweaks to the 1296 setup, though not much to
show for it. I did set an SWL record on that band, hearing K3EAR, but being
down 20+ db on transmit power I was not able to make the qso.
On Saturday I shared time with the NAQP SSB contest, using two computers to
keep separate logs. Highlight was working WA8TJL on all 5 VHF/UHF bands, and
then moving him to HF for six more qsos in the NAQP, for a total of eleven
bands.
