Comments:
A beautiful weekend to play radio in Minnesota. Yea, no tropo, no 6m E's, but
what a great time to be out and about. I worked from seven different grids -
EN24, 25, 34, 35 on Saturday, then EN33, 34, 43, 44 on Sunday at a leasurely
"smell the corn" pace. Best microwave DX was in the 360 to 380 km range with
better signals on 902 and up then 222 and down. My redesigned 902 box and
repaired 2304 worked well. Don't tell anyone, but 10gig is magical.
After CQ-VHF, its Rovermania (aka, the ARRL UHF contest), Aug 4 & 5. Mark that
date in your calendar, support your local rover(s), and send in a log.
73, Jon
