Too many contests in one weekend. Not too much activity on the Portugese
Contest. Although there were many CT on the air, most were not on the Portugal
Day Contest. Result of poor promotion or bad organization? It's a contest where
everyone can work everyone unlike most country contests. Anyway, i was able to
make over fifty Qs which was much more than i expected after spending a couple
of hours calling, saturday morning, and only worked a couple of stations.
Afternoon and evening brought more stations and the Q rate went to an average
of 10 QSOs hour. Wow :D
REP must rethink this contest if they want hams to participate.
