Comments:

We were planning to do a M/2 but I ended up being the only operator so at the
last minute I switched to single-op.

With 10 and 15 meters open it was a challenge to figure out when to take
breaks. I didn't want to miss any of the spot openings on either band. I
ended up taking 4 half-hour breaks starting at 2009, 2149, 0004 and 0144. In
the past I've tried taking all my breaks before 0000Z to get better mult totals
on 80 and 160. With 15 and 10 continuing to open to new areas staying on the
air early seemed to be a better strategy.

I made my first 40 meter Q at 0217. Usually I would have been on 40 as much as
4 hours earlier. When I got to 80 meters I could hear many east coast stations
in the 1 through 4 call areas, but nobody there could hear me. By the time the
east coast stations could hear me on 80 very few of them were left.

I heard at least 3 mults on 160 that I didn't work. K9MMS was very loud but
working closer stations. AC0W was good copy but couldn't hear me. I also
heard N2IC with a nice signal calling another station. I'm guessing I probably
heard 10 mults on 80 meters that I never worked.

Thanks to all for the QSYs. Many were successful and I probably should have
tried even more. I was hoping for over 1000 Q's but wasn't able to keep the
rate over 100 in the last hour.

73,
-Mike, N7MH
