Comments:

Quick counts on QSOs and a "guess" at Multipliers.

Primary Mission - "Having Fun on VHF and UHF Radio Bands" - ACCOMPLISHED!

Got to met THREE of one of the local village's finest...I'd backed in to a
parking space near the drive-up ATM for a bank and didn't even think about it
BUT...hmmm, a vehicle with an odd antenna parked next to an ATM, no problem,
right? Apparently NOT to Joe Average Guy (or Jo Average Gal) so there was a
call to the local authorities. At least they didn't pull up with lights and
sirens blazing and hop out with guns drawn ;-). I slowly and "smoothly" exited
the rover-mobile (perhaps fortunate that I'd BACKED in to the spot so I could
see them and they could see me) and approached the first officer, explained
that it was "ham radio" which, fortunately, he seemed to know a little about.
I'm guessing they ran my license plate but not even a request for Driver's
License or Ham License...they departed after a few minutes.

Thanks to ARRL for continued sponsorship, to ALL who participated this year,
and personally to those participants who heard my signal (I was trying NOT to
be a "weak one" but I'm sure I was for a few of you) and made a QSO exchange
(or two or three or several) with me.

Everyone repeat after me...200+ Logs submitted, 200+ Logs submitted, 200+ Logs
submitted.

And looking forward to Soapbox comments (>here< AND on ARRL web site) for
interesting things to include in the web report (maybe even in the two pages I
get for the QST article).

73, JK
