Had to work Saturday so no upper band operation. Nothing heard on 40. Lots and
lots of QRN and noise on 80.
I actually sat on 3650 and called CQ and was getting lots of replies. Most
were just under the noise and static crashes, so finally just gave up.
Operating SSB is just brutal when you have a hearing problem and wear 'aids.
Just can't seem to get the audio set right where it's comfortable.
Nice to see lots of activity down around 3600. There is so much room down
there, can't see why everyone hangs around 3830. Hopefully stations will
spread out more in the domestic contests. 73 and thanks for the Q's.
