Comments:
As we had plans most of the weekend, there was not enough available time for a
serious effort. So, I decided to do a mix of running and S/P. That turned out
to make the time that I had very enjoyable and without pressure. Conditions
seemed quite good most of the weekend. Europe was already booming into NC on
160 by 03:07Z on Friday night. Saturday evening was about the same, with
strong Europe stations on 160 by 02:30Z. Then....shut down - time to go out to
dinner.
I hope everyone found the 15 meter opening on Sunday morning. From here in NC
the best EU opening was from 13:50Z to about 15:00Z. That hour turned out to
deliver my peak rates for the weekend. The opening could have been longer, but
Sunday plans took priority.
The rest of Sunday was mostly S/P when time allowed. Not lots of time - but
lots of fun!
Thanks for the Qs - might see you in the ARRL SSB if time allows.
73,
Bruce - N1LN
