This is my third contest using a 1930s set up, a regen using both type 35/51 and
type 37 tubes. the regen needs more audio so will add another audio amp tube.
the transmitter is an MOPA using a 41 as an osc and 42 in the pa section. this
drives a biased 211 final PA to about 200 watts. You really have to cut back on
the deterctor sensitivity to handle the loud local signals. we will see what we
can do in the upcoming CQWPX contest.................
