Comments:
20m started out slow for me with lots of QRM and some QLF moments, but after
narrowing the CW filter, I managed to hit a nice stride with multiple QSOs
with
VE3ZT and N9RV, who was clicking on all cylinders tonight. Pat, you sounded
good! 40m had strange propagation, as signals seemed to fade in and out, but
was mostly good. Tor was pegging the S-meter here, and I finally had a qso
with
Mike W9RE who is always loud but often doesn't pick me out of the pile-up. I
was
enjoying the 40m band so much that I forgot to QSY to 80m in the last few
minutes! That may have cost me 50 tonight. But thanks to Saul K2XA calling me
at the buzzer, I got my last qso under way with just a couple of seconds left
in the game. As always, it was a great time, and it was good to work some new
stations -- welcome to the party! Thanks to N3BB for allowing me to operate
his super FB station, and thanks to all participants for the great time. Once
I
get a couple of nights over 50 Qs, I am going to start learning SO2R. 73 Ted
