Comments:
Ouch! - I had a terrible time tonight.
Record hot temperatures today, and the shack was
barely starting to cool down. The computer wanted to
-pause- -pause- so I'd hit the key, thinking I'd missed
it, and then it would start sending A SECOND TIME just
when the other person was answering me.
20m was weaker than usual with 17 QSOs in 15 minutes.
40m was trouble - I couldn't bust any pileups, and
couldn't get CQs answered. Only 13 QSOs in 10 minutes.
I was so discouraged by now I moved to 80m a minute
early - but no improvement. The usual 4 QSOs in 5 minutes.
I thought the chance to work dupes again caused a lot more
premature and reckless calling, increasing the level of
chaos. I guess I need lower temperatures and better
concentration, see you next week!
