Comments:
I was late getting set up and when hooking up antennas I discovered that the
feedline on the 80 meter dipole was severed. Must have happened while I was
out of town last week. I may have done it with my car since the feedline
seemed to be close to the driveway. Glad I found out today and not Saturday.
I forgot to hook up the ground to the rig and the computer and when I tried to
send my first exchange to N4AF, the computer went bonkers and the rig went key
down. I had to shut everything down, hook up the grounds and reboot. Very
sorry!
Finally made a few contacts in the last few minutes on a not very good 40 meter
band.
Going back to Japan after SS CW so won't be able to operate any more NS's until
the end of December or the beginning of January. Sure have enjoyed Thursday
nights for the past three months!
Hope to work many NSers in SS CW and in CQWW from 7J1AAI 40 meter single band.
