Comments:
Tough going at first. It usually is for QRP, but I had to revert to an *old*
laptop after trying all day (and failing) to get my new Vista laptop to key the
rig through a USB-serial/parallel adapter, so the first hour was a slow start.
Kept missing the action on 15m, and 20m was *very* crowded and noisy, but 40m
was quite clear and 80m was less noisy that usual. I got asked for amazingly
few repeats, too. I ran more than ever before, especially on 40m, and had a
blast. Never got the last 3 mults <sob> and ran out the end of the contest
still getting (for me) a decent 25+ Qs/hr.
Thanks to all who listened hard for us QRP-ers. It was a great contest, and I
made almost 50% more Qs than my past 4 years' entries. Now I'm looking forward
to SS SSB with a new headset/boom mic! C U all there. Best rx & 73 de kt8k -
Tim
