Comments:
This is always a fun contest. Great activity and interesting to chase the
oblasts.
Bands were not great at the start, although there were weak Eu signals on 15m.
Things kept improving and Sunday morning 15m was wide open to Russia at the
end.
Had a committment that had me away from the radio between 22z and 03z so missed
all the good openings on the low bands. Managed to catch a few stragglers
across European sunrise. Conditions on 160 and 80 were excellent with S9+
signals, but not much activity as everyone headed for the high bands at their
sunrise.
I spent extra time trying to make sure I copied everything correctly. And that
people copied my call correctly! It is frustrating to know that I will lose QSO
points because of mistakes by the other operator that are out of my control, but
that seems to be part of the RDXC game.
