Except for a few brief periods, my usual high line noise level was
exceptionally low. As expected, the majority of QSO's were single-point Es
along with the usual LU/PY runs. But surprisingly, the band showed some life
across the pond into EU. At 6:30PM Saturday while logging SA Qs, S50C called
me with a big signal. Swung the beam up to 45 degs and worked a fair number of
other EU. Strangest of all was a QSO with G3UFY at 10:30, half past midnight
his time!
Sure nice to see the 10M band showing some signs of life after a very long dry
spell!
