Comments:
Other Rovers, W9SNR/R and WB8BZK/R, were out in the local
(Chicago) area and we traded a number of QSOs with each other,
53 total for me, but it was quite far from anything resembling
a 'pack' or any sort of 'dancing'.
There was also quite a contingent of fixed stations on in and
around Chicago.
Wisconsin and Michigan were noticably light, I only linked up
with three stations from each state: N9LB, W0UC and W9GA from WI
and K8JA, KB8U and W8PGW from MI. Never heard W9FZ/R, who was
roving in WI but did hear other MI.
Highlights...OH-HIGH-OH - K8TQK spending some time with beams
pointed toward Chicago which benefitted many of us, fixed AND
rover including a particular highlight for me, a 1296 QSO
from EN50xx to EM89je for me, 457 km! Fixed Stations K0PG,
K2DRH, W9SZ and WO9S (57 of MY total QSOs) hanging in there to
find us rovers as we moved around.
Get those logs in, even if just a single QSO to report...I'm
hoping that the 2009 Log Submission count can be topped for 2010!
"250", JK
