Comments:
The purpose for the day was really for Joe and I to do station maintenance,
getting ready for the fall contest season. Hoewever we did find a few hours to
get on the air. Though M/2 there was probably only 45 minutes when we had both
stations going.
10 and 15 were both absent up our way. We did hear a couple stations rise above
the noise on 15 for a few seconds only to quickly fade away. 20M was a bit odd
when we were on the air, the opening was still strong but there seemed to be a
wall around W1, W2, and W3 -- we just could not get anyone there to give us a
call. Yet, we worked both NS and NB. Go figure. 40 was as expected and 80 was
in great shape for the summer edition of this great contest with a good number
of east coast stations in the log.
We are looking forward to this fall and once again hoping for the return of 10
and 15.
Scott/K7ZO
