Comments:

Too much ham radio and contesting this year to consider a single op effort
(WRTC, WPX, more WRTC, etc.). Was very pleased to have Dennis, W1UE, come over
to join me for a "tag team" multi-single operation. It was "tag, you're it"
when one of us couldn't stand the QRM or needed sleep. Dennis did most of the
operating and that was OK with me.

Mostly one op on duty at a time, but we did some mult hunting with the second
station. I suspect we will have some band change violations. To be expected
when you have two single ops who aren't used to paying attention to 10-minute
rules!

The lack of antenna maintenance and age of the station is starting to catch up
with me. The magic 160m ground plane that has been killer for 15 years broke in
a storm. The replacement no longer qualifies as magic. Not sure the 4 square on
80 was working that well either. The low bands were tough all weekend.

Found the feedline problem that had the 10m stack broken for the last two
years. (The good conditions the previous 2 weekends had provided the
motivation to fix.) Still may be something wrong as there were several times
the TH7 at 40' could hear things the stack couldn't. And we weren't busting
many pileups either.

Best time of the contest for me was on 15m Saturday morning. Had a 218 hour
from 1208-1307z! Was streaming and recording the audio so will be fun to go
back and listen to that again.

Tough watching the online scoreboard and seeing K1LZ just destroy us. Krassy's
big station was ideal for these kind of conditions. Those guys were in and out
of every pileup in one call!

Some numbers for reference.
