Comments:
This contest resembled our family fantasy football league in the personnel area
regarding last minute substitutions. One of our best, n6mj, Dan, was unable to
participate due to a family emergency.
Two of our team, k6am, John and Marco, n5zo just retuned from the cq ww contest
from distant locations and the accompanying jet lag. John was besieged by a
really bad cold and did an outstanding job. Marco, changed his original plan
from operating for just a "few hours" and breaking in a k-3 to operating the
entire contest resulting in the radio really getting burned in. N6ki, Dennis
also spent a lot more time and really contributed to our effort,
We had some equipment changes including new k-3's and a new 6 element 15 mtr
yagi. This was hardest everyone has worked in this contest due to conditions
going from being good in the beginning and really declining on Sunday.
Thanks to everyone for the QSO's. Hope to see everyone in 2 weeks. We will be
Multi Op again for that one, 73's w6yi, Jim.
