Comments:
It seems that Jack, KF6T, and I were both fighting colds... It sure made the
contest extra long and slow. Lots of tissue, and the shivers didn't help - I'm
glad that this wasn't the CW weekend. We had high winds, rain and some snow
last night that took down the 80 meter dipole. No rain today so I was able to
rescue the wire strewn about in the pasture and put it back up. The rain and
snow static was horrible on 40 meters but not so bad on 80. This effort was
all S&P since I could barely concentrate with this stuffy head. And once
again, like the CW contest, I missed three sections. This time they were DE,
SC and QC. And like last time, the hard ones came early.
Thanks to all of the KB crowd for the many contacts during the contest. You
made it all worth while.
Respectfully, submitted,
Bill Maurer
