Comments:
Actually had no plans to operate as I thought I had a guest op lined up - that
did not work out. So, I played a bit myself. Thought about going for 80 in 80
but reconsidered and just jumped in and helped out by CQing a fair amount.
Started 4 minutes late, and got off to an unbelieveable start but after a
couple of hours, had to quit to attend a fund raiser for a young (30 years old)
man in the area that had stage 4 lung cancer and needed our (the community)
help. So went to a very worthy cause on Saturday night instead of doing SS.
Did return on Sunday morning to put a few more into the log.
PR and AK were the last sections and both were found easily on 15 M Sunday
afternoon, while resting from the leaf mulching/raking activity. (suffering
from a bumper crop of acorns this year!)
Heard and worked some big numbers, seemed activity was good through Sunday
too.
