QRP contesting is equal amounts of fun and frustration. At least that is what I
keep telling myself. The day started at sunrise with a lot of antenna work in
the back yard. I finished up around 4PM, just in time to go watch my buddy and
his blues band take 2nd place in a competition.
After a late start (6 hours), I started to put calls in the log at a good rate.
That is until I fell asleep at the keyboard for several hours. I blamed the
antenna work, not the Sam Adams.
But, I had lots of fun, heard of lot of good CW ops keeping the mode alive, and
will most certainly be back next year. 73...Pete
