Comments:
Best Solar Cycle opening for CQWW CW in a LONG time. Band Condx like these
really add to the fun ! Could have done better on our mult stn but discovered
TS-950 which just came back from repair was busted in CW mode and would not key
- The spare K3 went to Ascension with Marko N5ZO ( ZD8O ) so all we had left
were a TS-440 and TS-450 with no CW filters .... but they worked in a pinch !
Hope we can rustle up some more CW Ops for next time, we were woefully short of
OPs this year - I think they were all home resting and digesting TURKEY! The 3
El SteppIR consistently beat out the F12 C3S and the F12 2 El 40 mtr Yagi at 76
ft on top of our 950 ft ( SSL ) hill, really played and made 40 the money band!
