Comments:
Had family in for the weekend so spent the night working 80 and 160 meters. I
spent more time on 160 meters to try and get some new ones on that band. I was
using a new vertical and was pleased with the performance. I was also using the
Orion 2v and AL-1200. The other contacts on the other bands were to get
additional new band countries. Europe openings on 160 meters were shorter on
Saturday night. I was surprised by the 160 meter opening to europe in the last
hour of the contest.
