Comments:

What a great contest! When the third QSO is with Kermadec, you know it is
going to be a special weekend. This score is a personal best from home, and
that is always very satisfying. Conditions were great, especially on 20M and
below. I think 20 and 40 were open around the clock. Fifteen meters was not
the money band that it usually is. I kept trying to get something going on
15M, but the depth was never there like on 20M. I worked a couple of EU
stations on 40M at my local noon time, and a few on 10M. SFI=80 A=5 K=1

My top rotator was frozen the night before the contest after a 40-degree
temperature drop plus rain. Fortunately it started turning before the
contest started, and continued to work all weekend long. I still have an
intermittent in the main run radio, and I REALLY need to fix this soon.
My apologies again for the broken QSOs when the TX blinked off.

I still have a lot to learn about DX contesting. It's humbling and it's
challenging and it's fun and I'd love to have bigger and higher antennas.
Did I mention that I LOVE CONTESTING!?!

The only downside was those #@%& operators who won't send their call
signs regularly. It's plain selfish, and it really sucks for those
UNASSISTED RADIO OPERATORS who actually IDENTIFY SIGNALS on their own.
I echo Steve N2IC's comments on this matter. You leave us few choices.

Nice tribute by the Voo Dudes to K5VT. Thanks to all of the great DX
efforts, both locals and DXpeditioners that get on and make this contest
the King of them all. K4RO station description is at http://www.k4ro.net
