Comments:
Casual very part time single band entry this year. Antenna comprised the usual
compressed doublet but with an extension to one end of around 40m. Very heavy
wire meant the antenna was close to or on the ground for much of its length
across a snow-covered field. So much of the RF was heating the ground and
melting the snow! Very pleased to make over 200 QSOs. Thanks to those who
pulled my weak signal out of the noise.
