Comments:
Very quiet conditions. Nice chilly evening. 20 meters was open to the east,
midwest, and west. I got off to one of my best starts, as the SO2R really was
clicking on the inactive radio answers to CQs there. But then I really fell way
off that pace for stretches. After a good spell on 20/40, things dropped off
during the dreaded "80-160 meter" period while I hear the east and midwest work
one another at a frantic pace. But all in all it was a good NS for me, although
the mults were a bit down given the number of QSOs. No three baggers, but lots
of two banders.
The five minute segment rates were 15, 10, 7, 10, 6, and 7.
Nice to hear a loud NO5W on 80 meters for the (now) rare TX mult.
Thanks to all for the activity and the 3830 support.
I'll be off now for a spell due to QRM with a class on Thursday nights. Now off
to watch the (on tape) basketball game between VT and UNC.
73, Jim N3BB
