Had a little fun in this one. Highlights were working my neighbors W1WLW and
KT1B a few times apiece. Conditions seemed really off - 15m sounded non
existent in the second receiver. 20m seemed light - I think I only worked a few
CA stations, big change from CW weekend. 40m seemed way up and down and very
long early. When more EU were calling in than NA on 40, I knew something was
amiss.
I also thought participation seemed very low compared to years past (and
certainly less than the recent CW weekend)- from my perspective there couldn't
have been much more than 100-200 semi-serious participants. Curious what
others thought.
