Comments:

My first CQ 160 contest and I had a blast. Thanks to Howie for hosting.

The conditions were good both days and the rates were good until about 4AM
Sunday morning when the new ones dried up. We probably could have ended up
with a few more QSOs, but several times we would stop running 2 pointers to go
S&P for the 10 point DX. We never did get a good run of Europeans, especially
on the first night.

A few JA's could be heard, but none strong enough to work. We did work all
states with Idaho being the last one. I thought North Dakota was going to be
tough, but worked one late Saturday night and then had three more call within
30 minutes.

Howie let me have most of the prime evening hours, but he was on for a lot of
morning just before and after sunrise. We thought about doing a single op, but
decided instead to do the M/S so we could both have some fun.

We'll be back again in a few weeks as NY4A in the ARRL DX.
