Comments:
First time ever I have worked the CQ 160 meter CW contest. I learned a great
deal during the contest and I am planning for next year to put in more time and
effort. I only had a dipole on 160 at 45 feet. I was amazed that I could work
any Europeans since it is broadside to the north and south. (Great for east
coast) Next year I hope to put up some sort of vertical antenna and a beverage
to increase my score. I had a great time and put in one of my best contest
efforts ever. Where was Oregon and Idaho? I almost had a WAS on 160 with a
dipole!
