Listened for a while on the high bands but nothing heard during daylight. Later
found VE7CV on 80M for my only Q -- but a great double mult :) Pete is in
Kamloops, about two stone-throws (150 kms) from this QTH, and the only workable
VE7 I heard.
Heard VE7IO but couldn't crack the pileup, or make the short hop, whichever
came first. Sorry Fred.
Looks like others had better success working BC from outside the cone of
silence.
