Comments:
What a difference a year makes! Last year I had less than 200 QSOs and only 30
multipliers.
First night I had 19 QSOs and 9 Mults. Last Q at 0046 with LR2F. Not much of
a start. First Q Saturday morning at 1317 with EF8S. Not a bad start for the
day. All S.A. and Carrib after that until another EA8 at 1343 then some ZSs
and V5 and FR1 called at 1420. At 1442 A71 called! Really getting interesting
now! Last Q of the day at 0032 with a ZL. At that time I had 318 Qs in the log
with 55 OC, 130 SA, 41 NA, 26 AS, 22 AF, and 44 EUs.
The next day started with a bang. I found a BV long path. After I worked him
at 1307, I hurried to a clear freq and started calling. At 1319 a BD7 called
followed by another BD7 and a BH7. Also worked another BH7 and a VR2 before it
died out. No LP JAs though. Europe was much better on Sunday. Better rates
Sunday morning, but it died again that afternoon. Viva la spots!
